Did You Know...
Now after all these “how” and “where” and why, you must be wondering well, what’s so awesome about mars? First of all, the Martian year is twice as long as Earth’s, but visitors would still experience winter and summer seasons thanks to the planet’s tilted axis. Mars rotates at almost exactly the same frequency as our planet, making its days just 40 minutes longer than our own. Explorers would be treated to some mind-blowing sights, with vast canyons, giant mountains and sand dunes. The Martian air has a permanent veil of dust, giving the daytime sky an orange tinge although sunrise and sunset would be blue. Ice clouds similar to the cirrus clouds we see on Earth complete this otherworldly landscape. Also, some people think that mars has no water, but they are wrong, mars actually has water beneath the surface in the form of ice. Also, mars has the tallest mountain in the solar system, Olympus Mons which rises 27 km and mars also has the longest and deepest canyon in the solar system, which could be spread out on top of america. However, even though mars has all these amazing things, mars actually is only half the size of earth and it’s mass is 10% of earth’s
